Graduates who have majored in environmental technologies typically become involved in the interdisciplinary relationships between natural science, engineering and the impacts of pollutants on man and the environment. They make use of a wide range of environmental engineering processes, from water and air pollution control to residual waste treatment and alternative and renewable energy. Graduates are involved in analyzing pollutants and utilizing the results for the technical solutions needed to reduce impacts on the soil, water and air. They are also responsible for monitoring processing plants and for due observation of the relevant codes and laws. This high-level interdisciplinary program equips graduates to work in a wide range of fields in which environmental protection plays a critical role.
